Finnish mobile phone manufacturer, quietly revealed details about the latest Nokia device 5233. This is another model with a touchscreen.

Nokia 5233 has virtually the same functions as the Nokia 5230, but has no 3G service. Other features of the Nokia 5233 touch screen is 3.2 inches diagonal, 2 megapixel camera, FM radio, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS and Ovi Maps.

It was known already, the Nokia 5233 would occur in India at a price tag of Rs.7500 that means the handset is Rs 1000/- less than the Nokia 5230.


Nokia 5233 is available in two colors – silver and black and it runs on Symbian S60v5 operating system and 434 MHz ARM processor.

Some other notable feature are 3.5 mm audio jack, FM radio with RDS, A-GPS, audio and video player, Photo editor, Flash Lite 3.0, downloadable games, upto 7 hours talktime.

The customer who demands for touchscreen and doesn’t require 3G connectivity than this phone will prove to be best bet.

Reports: Apple Will Sell Eight Million iPads by 2012

An analyst with Needham & Company has projected that Apple will sell 2 million iPads this year with an additional 6M being sold in 2011. The sales will come at the expense of Apple’s iPod Touch, according to reports today. Sales will begin moderately. The anticipated spike in sales will occur after “the arrival of a catalyst,” but the report did not specify what that incentive would be. The iTunes store worked before, and it may work again. That is evidenced by reports of interactive textbooks headed to the iPad. The iPad also could appeal to people who have light computing requirements such as seniors .
